Our Story

Defining the Details

At TradCo, we’re driven by the details. You’ll see it in each of our products. You’ll see it in our range of finishes. More importantly, you’ll see and feel it every time you interact with one of our quality pieces in your home.

Our History

The story of TradCo began nearly four decades ago when Graham and Denise Duff started producing restoration architectural hardware to sit neatly within Australia’s historical homes. As the business grew, so did the range of designs.

Restoration is at Our Heart

We believe that when a house is restored to its former glory, it becomes a home. Honouring the history and stories held within its walls, TradCo is dedicated to preserving original character. Whether it’s a hinge, light switch or door lever, each piece is thoughtfully designed to celebrate the finer details of period homes.

Extensive Product Range

With more than 2,500 products and one of the most extensive finish selections in Australasia, our hardware is woven into homes across Australia, from humble cottages to grand heritage estates. Our range, spanning door levers, window fittings and cabinetware, is designed to restore character throughout the entire home.

Quality

Brass, with its long-standing role in traditional hardware and enduring presence in period homes, offers a rare combination of strength, beauty and versatility. We use the highest grade brass, working in both sand casting and forging to create pieces designed to stand the test of time.

Complementary materials such as timber, cast iron and porcelain feature throughout the range, adding authenticity and supporting heritage restorations. Each piece is thoughtfully engineered under strict quality controls, resulting in hardware made to last.
